Dennis Valentin, 34, was found with 1,200 Ecstasy pills and 140 grams of marijuana in his apartment at 931 North 3rd Street, the Berks County District Attorney's Office said.

Valentin was taken to the Berks County Sheriff's Department Central Processing Center, according to authorities. He is currently awaiting preliminary arraignment.

The Berks County District Attorney's Drug Task Force began investigating Valentin in August, the district attorney's office said. He was identified as a distributor of Ecstasy pills at that time.

Detectives made numerous undercover purchases as part of the investigation, leading to a search warrant issued for Valentin's apartment, according to authorities. Valentin was present during the search when police seized the Ecstasy pills, marijuana, a digital scale, a cellphone, and $1,204, which is believed to be the proceeds of drug sales.

The court docket on this case was unavailable at the time of publishing.
